Instant VIP+2 upgrade: How to migrate to the Bybit VIP program

In the competitive crypto trading market, a VIP program can provide the edge traders need through exclusive perks like discounted trading fees and enhanced customer support. For high-volume traders who already enjoy VIP status on other cryptocurrency exchanges, switching platforms can seem like a daunting process that involves losing hard-earned benefits. Bybit simplifies this process with its VIP program.

This initiative is designed to welcome VIP traders from other exchanges: it not only matches but also upgrades their current status. This article explores the Bybit VIP program, shows why it's an attractive choice for serious traders and provides a step-by-step guide on how you can seamlessly complete your Bybit VIP migration.

Key Takeaways:

• The Bybit VIP program allows traders with VIP status on other exchanges to migrate and receive an instant VIP+2 level upgrade.

• Benefits include highly competitive discounted trading fees, a dedicated VIP ambassador, exclusive event invitations and priority access to support.

• The migration process is simple and requires proof of your trading volume or VIP status from another exchange in order to get started.

What is the Bybit VIP program?

The Bybit VIP program is a premium service created to reward high-volume traders with an enhanced service experience. It offers a tiered structure that includes VIP 1, VIP 2, VIP 3, Pro 1, Pro 2, Pro 3 and the exclusive Supreme VIP level. Each tier unlocks progressively better benefits, rewarding traders based on their asset balances or 30-day trading volumes.

Core advantages of the program include significantly discounted trading fees for spot, derivatives and options; much higher withdrawal limits; and priority access to Bybit customer support. As traders move up the tiers, they gain access to even more personalized perks — making Bybit VIP one of the most comprehensive loyalty programs in the industry.

Why migrate to Bybit VIP from another exchange?

For a VIP trader, choosing the right platform is crucial for maximizing profitability and efficiency. Bybit's VIP program offers several compelling advantages that make migrating an attractive option:

• The most significant benefit is the instant upgrade of your VIP status by two levels. If you’re a VIP 1 trader on another exchange, you can instantly become a Bybit VIP 3 trader, unlocking better fee rates and perks from day one.

• Bybit's fee structure is highly competitive, offering some of the lowest rates in the market, especially for higher VIP tiers.

• The platform also provides deep liquidity and access to over 300 spot trading pairs, creating diverse opportunities for any trading strategy.

• For professional traders, Bybit offers advanced tools, such as a sophisticated copy trading platform and full-featured TradFi integration.

• Finally, Bybit's global accessibility and MiCA compliance in Europe provide regulatory trust and a secure trading environment.

Eligibility for Bybit VIP from other exchanges' VIP programs

The Bybit VIP migration program is designed for traders who have already established a significant trading history on another platform(s). To be eligible, you must provide proof of your existing VIP status from another crypto exchange.

Alternatively, you can submit proof of your 30-day trading volume from another exchange. Bybit generally requires a minimum of $1 million in spot trading volume, or $10 million in derivatives trading volume, to qualify for VIP 1. Bybit will evaluate your submitted proof and assign the appropriate VIP tier, plus the two-level upgrade.

For traders with multiple accounts, subaccounts automatically inherit the main account's discounted fee structure, making the transition seamless. After migrating, if your asset balance or trading volume falls below the requirements for your tier, Bybit provides a 14-day grace period to help you maintain your VIP status.

How to migrate to Bybit VIP from other exchanges

Migrating your VIP status to Bybit is a quick and simple process. The following is a clear guide to get you started:

1. Create a Bybit account: If you don't already have one, register on the Bybit website (or App) with your email or phone number. You’ll need to complete at least Identity Verification (KYC) Level 1 to unlock the platform's full features.

2. Proof of VIP status: Go to your current crypto exchange and take a screenshot of your VIP status page or your dashboard showing your 30-day trading volume.

3. Submit application: Send an email to premium@bybit.com with your Bybit UID, your preferred contact method and a screenshot as proof. The Bybit VIP team will review your application, typically responding within one to five business days.

4. Verify VIP status: Once you’ve been approved, you can check your new VIP level in your profile settings. Simply hover over the profile icon on the website, or check the settings in the Bybit App.

5. Start trading: After your VIP status has been activated, you can deposit funds and begin trading with your new, lower fee rates.

Transferring assets to Bybit

To meet the asset balance requirements, or simply to start trading, you’ll need to transfer your crypto assets from your old exchange. To do this, navigate to the Withdraw section on your current exchange, select the cryptocurrency and network and enter your Bybit deposit address. You can find your deposit address on Bybit by going to Assets and clicking on Deposit.

Bybit charges no deposit fees, but you will need to cover the network fees based on the blockchain you use. After the transaction is confirmed, you can check your Bybit Funding Account for the deposited funds.
