How to get started with RWA Earn

RWA Earn is a Bybit Earn product that gives you direct access to tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), such as institutional bond funds and credit portfolios, using USDC (USDC) from your Bybit account. Unlike decentralized finance (DeFi) yield products with returns that often depend upon token emissions RWA Earn generates yield from real-world sources: bond interest payments and the performance of underlying investment funds managed by established financial institutions.

In this guide, we cover everything you need to use RWA Earn: Eligibility requirements, funding your account with USDC, subscribing to a product, tracking your holdings, understanding return accumulation and redeeming shares when you're ready.

Key Takeaways:

• RWA Earn is a Bybit Earn product that provides access to tokenized institutional investment products, such as bond funds and credit portfolios, using USDC as the subscription currency.

• Returns are reflected through net asset value (NAV) appreciation, rather than cash distributions, with NAV updated daily.

• Redemption requests are irrevocable once submitted, and typically take 1–7 business days to process.

Who can use RWA Earn?

Access to RWA Earn is contingent on your account’s Identity Verification status and geographic location. Individual accounts must have completed Identity Verification Level 1 or above. Meanwhile, corporate accounts must have completed Business Verification. In addition, all users must agree to the Bybit Earn Terms and Conditions as well as the RWA Earn Terms before subscribing.

RWA Earn is unavailable in service-restricted countries and regions. Because the list of supported and restricted jurisdictions is subject to regulatory change, check the RWA Earn page directly, or refer to Bybit's FAQ for current regional availability before attempting to subscribe.

Funding your account with USDC

RWA Earn accepts only USDC as the subscription currency. Therefore, you need USDC in either your Funding Account or Unified Trading Account (UTA) before placing an order. If you don't already hold USDC with Bybit, there are three practical routes to buy it:

• Purchase USDC coin directly via Bybit P2P or the Spot market

• Transfer USDC from an external wallet

• Convert an existing stablecoin balance, such as Tether (USDT), to USDC using Bybit Convert.

Once USDC is in your account, please note the investment boundaries that apply to each individual subscription (minimum 10,000 USDC, maximum 5,000,000 USDC).

Navigating to the RWA Earn page

On the Bybit App, tap on Earn in the bottom navigation bar, then RWA Earn to reach the product listing. Then, on the website, hover over Finance in the top navigation bar, navigate to Earn and select RWA Earn. Both entry points bring you to the same product listing page, where you can compare available products by estimated yield, asset manager and processing time before committing to a subscription.

How to track your holdings

After your subscription has been confirmed, and the order status changes from Processing to Active, your position will become visible under Assets → Earn → RWA Earn (on both the App and the website).

Each position displays the product name, number of shares held, investment amount and current status. Returns are not distributed as cash; instead, they accumulate through NAV appreciation. The value of your holdings at any point equals your shares held multiplied by the current NAV, with the NAV updated daily. This means that your position grows in value, rather than in share count — which is functionally different from yield products that credit tokens directly to your balance.

Tracking NAV movement on the product's performance chart gives you the clearest view of the underlying fund’s performance over time.

Key timelines to know

Processing times in RWA Earn are governed by institutional settlement cycles, not instant blockchain finality. Therefore, it’s important to set accurate expectations before you subscribe.

The 1–7 business day redemption window reflects standard bond fund settlement periods. During periods of elevated market stress or reduced fund liquidity, processing may extend beyond that range. If you anticipate needing access to your capital within a short or fixed window, factor this timeline into your position sizing before investing.

The bottom line

RWA Earn gives you structured exposure to institutional products without leaving your Bybit account, using USDC as the entry and exit currency. The mechanics are straightforward: subscribe, hold while NAV appreciates and redeem when you're ready.

That said, this is an investment product, rather than a savings deposit. Principal is not protected, and returns are not guaranteed. The 1–7 business day redemption window may not be guaranteed during extreme market events.

Finally, understanding the distinction between NAV-based returns and cash yield distributions and accounting for the irrevocability of redemption orders gives you the operational clarity you need to use RWA Earn effectively within a broader portfolio strategy.
