What is bbSOL HODLverse?

Running from Mar 11, 2025, 12AM UTC through Mar 20, 2025, 11:59PM UTC, bbSOL HODLverse is a staking rewards event that allows Bybit users to earn LAYER tokens by holding bbSOL in their Bybit Exchange and/or Bybit Web3 Wallet.

How does bbSOL HODLverse work?

The concept behind bbSOL HODLverse is simple: the more bbSOL you hold, the greater your share of the LAYER airdrop. To understand the mechanics of the event, let’s break it down step by step:

1. Holding bbSOL: Users must hold bbSOL in either their Bybit Exchange account and/or Bybit Web3 Wallet (Cloud Wallet or Seed Phrase Wallet).

2. Daily snapshots: Throughout the event period, Bybit will take daily snapshots of users’ bbSOL holdings at a random time. These snapshots record the exact amount of bbSOL you hold at each specific moment.

3. Reward calculation: The amount of LAYER tokens you’ll receive will be automatically calculated based on the proportion of your bbSOL holdings snapshot, relative to the total bbSOL holdings of all participants.

4. Distribution of rewards: Your rewards will be accumulated daily, and all accumulated rewards will be distributed at once at the end of the event on Mar 21, 2025 after 12AM UTC to your Funding account (for Bybit Exchange users) and to your Bybit Web3 Wallet (for Bybit Web3 users).
